തിരുവനന്തപുരം : സംസ്കാര സാഹിത്യവേദിയുടെ മികച്ച നാടകരചനക്കുള്ള അവാര്‍ഡ് രാജു കുന്നക്കാട്ടിന്. കോട്ടയം മാറ്റൊലിയുടെ ജനപ്രിയ നാടകമായ ഒലിവ് മരങ്ങള്‍ സാക്ഷി എന്ന നാടകമാണ് അവാര്‍ഡിന് അര്‍ഹമായത്. ഈ നാടകത്തിന്റെ രചനയ്ക്ക് ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഏഴാമത്തെ പുരസ്കാരമാണിത്. നാടകത്തിന്റെ സംവിധായകനും നടനുമായ ബെന്നി ആനിക്കാടിനും, മറ്റൊരു നടനായ മുന്‍ കാര്‍ട്ടൂണ്‍ അക്കാഡമി ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ പ്രസന്നന്‍ ആനിക്കാടിനും നേരത്തെ അവാര്‍ഡ് ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഈ നാടകത്തിലെ ഗാനം രചിച്ചിരിയ്ക്കുന്നത് ജോസ് കുമ്പിളുവേലിയാണ്.

ജൂലൈ 20 ന് തിരുവനന്തപുരം അച്യുത മേനോന്‍ സെന്ററില്‍ വച്ചാണ് അവാര്‍ഡ് സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നത്.പ്രശസ്ത സാഹിത്യകാരന്‍മാരായ പള്ളിയറ ശ്രീധരന്‍, പ്രൊഫ. ജി എന്‍ പണിക്കര്‍, ഡോ. സി ഉദയകല, ശ്രീകുമാര്‍ മുഖത്തല എന്നിവര്‍ ചടങ്ങില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കും.25000 രൂപയും, പ്രശസ്തി പത്രവും ഫലകവുമടങ്ങുന്നതാണ് അവാര്‍ഡ്.

രാജന്‍ പി. ദേവ് അവാര്‍ഡ്, ശംഖുമുദ്ര പുരസ്കാരം, ആറന്മുള സത്യവ്രതന്‍ പുരസ്കാരം, വേദി ടു വേദി കലാരത്ന പുരസ്കാരം, വേള്‍ഡ് മലയാളി കൗണ്‍സില്‍ പുരസ്കാരം, പള്ളിക്കത്തോട് പൗരാവലി പുരസ്കാരം, അയര്‍ലണ്ടിലെ മൈന്‍ഡ് ഐക്കോണ്‍ അവാര്‍ഡ് എന്നിവയാണ് രാജുവിന് ലഭിച്ച മറ്റു പുരസ്ക്കാരങ്ങള്‍.

വേള്‍ഡ് മലയാളി കൗണ്‍സില്‍ കള്‍ച്ചറല്‍ ഫോറം ഗ്ളോബല്‍ സെക്രട്ടിയാണ് രാജു കുന്നക്കാട്ട്.
